Heh. I love this guy. Like, seriously. I showed this to my dad and he simply replied "Well...is certainly is...SOMEthing."

Since this guy looks alot like the Forest God from Princess mononoke, I just want to clear something up. He is NOT from Mononoke-hime.
I actually got around to drawing him after playing 'The Endless Forest" for three hours at four am. (Look it up- it's actually a screensaver, and pretty cool at that.) You play as a man-faced deer-thing, which gave me the idea.

It's very zen...

ANYwho. His doodle inspired a bunch of other man-faced things, which eventually turned into my masked critters- so far there's Human-faced deer, Masked Dragons, Cait Shiddhe (human faced cats w/ long necks and slime) Fae mice (masked mice with wings) Loup (masked wolves) Loup-garou (centaur-like masked wolves) Sirens (masked birds) and a few more thingies in the works.

-breathe- They live on a planet/world with seven moons, three suns, a false dawn, an extended day/night cycle, and a period of complete darkness that lasts about an hour where nasty thinggumies come out to play.

well, it certainly is SOMEthing... i really like the fins (at least i'm assuming they're fins) on his head and the pattern on the mask.

...and it totally didn't take me a good 15 minutes of staring to realize he was standing on the water...
