They Both Cheat

Christ my hand hurts. I started this at approximately one am, and it is now... 5:53 am. Five hours.

Can't say I'm wholly pleased, and I KNOW there are a ton of things wrong, but for a first go a digital painting, especially with a background and shit, I'm pretty damn pleased. Especially again sine the BG is fire and some dumb stuff. Why I decided on backlighting and themes like that I don't know.

I can proudly say it marks quite a few Firsts though! First time attempting lineless art (not quite, but getting there!) First digital Painting, first successful piece done entirely cg, First use of a color-lit background...
I dunno. I'm kinda proud of myself.

Feel free to rip it apart now. Seriously- I would ADORE crituique and commentary- I DO want to improve, so go for it. Or...you know. Whatever.

OH. The picture, right. It's of more Pern rp characters. This time it's S'vyr and his pretty sassy green Eamith. Both of them are cheaters. S'vyr stacks the deck, and Ammy (her nickname, duh) keeps loaded dice in her mouth. Thus when his co-players go outside to drink or smoke (All V'rge's fault getting the Weyrlings smoking) he switches out the dice. They chek him, but have so far not tried to look in Eamith's mouth.
And no, I don;t know where the hell they are, some weyr cave somewhere. Those things on the walls were intended to be a big fire and two glowbaskets. MEH. And I also don't know quite why they apparently sit on chairs made of hot dogs and cardboard...

ANYWAY. Only complaint is when I added the BG, Ammy's hide got waaaay darker than I had planned. She's actually a really bright minty sort of green, really pale, but the lighting took that away.
Anyway. Characters come from Tribal.
